A very typical Singaporean heartlander -- born in Singapore, studied in Singapore and eventually worked in Singapore.

In 1999, when I was 26, I decided to 'chuang tian xia'. Quit my job and left for Hong Kong which I eventually lived for 5 years before returning home to Singapore again in 2005.

What are my passions and interests?
I love to cook, especially cooking for friends. Cooking is an art. It is a way I express myself. It is an expression of love to my friends and family. To me, cooking is therapeutic. Unfortunately, I have not cooked much now that I am back in Singapore for various reasons, including being distracted with another passion in my life -- Tango.

Times have changed, where diary entries not only are electronic, it is available for all to read.

There was a sudden interest to start my own blog as well, to put into words my thoughts - of happy moments and sad ones too. To remember events where God works in mysterious ways, as well as those which brought tears to my eyes. To have a diary of written memories, which I can read many years later --- and perhaps laugh at my own immaturity then.
